Spreading TCU cheer in South America

Ashley Wright Norman '05 and Sue Phillip Philp '69 in front of the Cristo de la Concordia in Cochabamba, Bolivia, in July 2011. The pair were in the South American country on a mission trip with four Methodist churches from southeast Texas. They are helping to build a church in Cochabamba.

Throwing up the Frog sign - in utero

Michael O. Browning Jr. '07 of Dallas and his wife are expecting their first child in the spring. Last week, they got a 3-D sonogram of the expected Baby Landree, and she appeared to be "throwing up the TCU Horned Frog sign," he wrote to tell us. The Brownings, who are big TCU football fans, love the image so much that they are getting t-shirts made for their tailgate! Michael is a senior vice president for marketing and business development at Santa Barbara Medical Innovations in Dallas.
