Music alumna directs own ensemble

Melissa Sky-Eagle '01 has recently served as musical director and arranger of an original performance piece at Los Angeles Valley College in Valley Glen, Calif.  She taught and coached the singers and conducted the ensemble, in addition to scoring and arranging the songs and backing vocals.
“She was a dream to work with, always prepared, always prompt, always positive, always open to change as this brand new show evolved through the rehearsal process," said Director Chris Coddington, assistant professor of acting and directing at LA Valley College. "Her musical knowledge is broad and deep, her musicianship is impeccable, and her taste and her dramatic sense are first-rate."
