Hamzah Kassim ’77 MBA gets honored




Two years ago, Hamzah Kassim ’77 MBA, was advising Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his cabinet on the need to undertake economic reform, using Malaysia as a model of successful economic change in the Islamic world.

In the fall, this successful business consultant and entrepreneur was back in the states accepting Monmouth College’s Hall of Achievement honor (center in photo above). 

His career has spanned both business and government. He is currently the Co-Founder and Group Managing Director of The IA Group, a management, technology, talent management and BPO services based in Kuala Lumpur. He was a former Executive Director/Partner of the international firm of Ernst & Young, Vice President and Country Head of the global consulting firm of Cap Gemini and a member of the global management team and Country Head of PA Consulting Group.
