TCU freshman Stephanie Toups '16 represented the state of Louisiana at the Mystic Krewe of Louisianians Washington Mardi Gras Ball in February. It's known to be among the largest parties in the nation's capital.
A princess for the ball, Toups combined her love of the Horned Frogs and native state to make a fashion statement.
"She walked out in her gown in front of 3,000 politicians and corporate representatives in purple high heels with the words 'GEAUX FROGS' bejeweled on the tops," her father Stephen wrote.
